Help! Can create character, then game starts, and the game window is black...

Hi all - can anyone help! I am not very tech savvy, so please bear with me...

I can start the game, create a character, and then when I start the game properly, after the Candlekeep screen with the voice over, the game screen appears, and although all the icons are present etc, and I can access them all, the actual game window that displays the graphics is all black.

Just a follow up to my problem above, as a similar thread reported the same problem, I did what they did to sort it out.... modify the .ini file as suggested here: (http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/7491/nvidia-intel-chips-and-performance-issueswhite-boxes#latest), and now my game is working fine!!!!!
