This is a super Simple Question

My father purchased BG EE for me quite some time ago on The BeamDog site. I just found out it was also released on steam. A friend of mine actually has the game too but doesn't want to redownload it to play with me unless he knows its able to link with me on multiplayer.

My question is very simple. Is the version on BG EE I have from this site able to play with others who purchased the game on steam.

    Yes, you can play multiplayer between both versions. The only thing that you need to ensure is that both of you must either have Siege of Dragonspear installed, or if one of you don't have it, the other must deactivate or uninstall that DLC (temporarily) in order for multiplayer to work between you two.
