using the console to reactivate a romance in Throne of Bhaal

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I thought I just used the console to reset the number to 2, but nope, it just falls back to 1 when I do that. Is there some other console command I need to use?

    i think that it depends on the particular romance and the reason why it has ended, i would say that if you don't remove that reason it is still active so the engine sets a new end for the romance.

    i suggest you to at least use EEkeeper where you can see all the romance related variables and maybe google for what is the right value for them to have the romance progressing or post them here asking for assistance.
