Best weapon type for a Barbarian...?

What type of weapon do you guys recommend for a half-orc barbarian? I mean, single-handed weapon and shield, or a two handed weapon? What do you guys think?

I always go with the good old Greataxe for a barbarian, but that's just personal taste. Two-handed weapons make the best use of the increased Strength from Barbarian Rage, and from a strictly statistical analysis, going with Greatsword with Improved Critical/Keen gives better overall damage via more frequent critical hits, but I dunno... I've always preferred the image of my Barbarian going berserk while wielding a giant axe bigger than he is to be more appealing.
