Graphic bug

When in game there appears big black rectangle which covers most of screen. I can see only part of game screen and also icons arent in correct positions. When I want to move my character its possible only in that black rectangle as it seems that points in that rectangle corespond to points in the rest of the screen where I can actually see game (for example by pointing at specific point in black rectangle I can open door and so). All ingame menus are displayed correctly and even when I move into inventory game suddenly behaves normally. But when I close inventory and go back to play the black rectangle appears and icons shift again.
My PC setup is Vista 32 bit, AMD Turion x2 dual core mobile RM-72, 2.1GHz and ATI mobility Radeon HD 3650
