Importing Black Pit characters into BGEE on Switch

Howdy folks,
I recently finished a black pits campaign with my fighter/mage/thief. I rolled a 92 for stats and I figured afterwards i would just import to the BGEE campaign like I did on PC. On the switch, when I go to new game in BGEE and choose import, none of my characters a from black pits are listed. When I go to black pits campaign tho I have the option to import my exported characters into Black pits so the character file is there. Wondering if this is a glitch or if its intended for us to not be able to import BG to BP and vice versa on console or switch specifically. Thank you for your time.
