From NWN to Filmmaker - an Animator's Tale

Greetings and well met, travelers. I am Dartanbeck and I have a tale to tell.
Join me on an adventure from back when my wife simply could not get me to play any form of game on our first computer to discovering Baldur's Gate, through becoming a digital filmmaker of CG assets and effects:

Discovering Beamdog has been a similar experience for me. As many of you probably have, I've already been modding Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Torment and their expansions to work as computers and their operating systems changed. But getting all new copies of these games with fresh development is such a treat!!!
This is the character who has evolved from my very first Baldur's Gate heroine through Neverwinter Nights to becoming the star of the films I've been working toward developing. The actual story (article) is in the link above:
