What is the highest fighter level that gives you a pip?

I have a mod that doesn't have an experience cap, so I don't have to worry about that.

- BTW I am expecting to dual-class this character which is why I'm asking.

You get a pip every 3 levels, so in the unmodded game the final one is gained at level 39. I don't have any experience of mods that allow progression past level 40, but they may well allow further pips.

Oh, alright but it's every 3 levels... good to know.

Just for clarity, the 3 levels is for fighter types. Thieves, bards and divine types get a pip every 4 levels and mage types every 6 levels. Thus a cleric dualling at level 5 to a ranger would start with 2 pips and get a further one at level 4. On dualling, they would temporarily lose access to those 3 existing pips, but get 4 more for the starting ranger. They would get more pips at level 3 and level 6 - they would regain access to the earlier 3 at that point (though, if you chose the same proficiencies for your second class they would not add to, but just overwrite the earlier ones).
