Windows 8 pro 64bit, the game can not be started.

After I clicked "play" button, the launcher closed and nothing happened. I tried every compatible mode and ran as administrator.

System Info:
Windows 8 pro 64bit
i7-2760QM
GTX580M SLI

Try this!

right click desktop
select "Nvidia Control Panel" from drop down menu
select the category "manage 3D settings"
In both tabs ("Global settings" and "program settings") change the preferred graphic selector to high performance Nvidia processor

it worked for me.
