Evening.
I've been stuck not able to play NWN EE for a better part of a year now as some strange issue would close my game immediately upon opening it, tried every fix out there and nada. Whatever the problem is would forcibly close my game within seconds of me launching, antimalware nonsense that would not go away no matter how many tricks I tried.
Recently decided what the heck maybe it was just steam's fault so I nabbed the game straight from Beamdog encountered the exact same issue but with an exit code. I looked up the code just to see if I could work on it myself and everything that I read suggested it had something to do with OpenGL and my graphics card. Checked out my hardware and I'm running a Radeon RX 580 with an OpenGL API v4.6. Did I get outdated or what exactly is happening?
