Altering race checks in romance mods

Somewhat ironically, I finally decided to play a party with Sarah the ranger, only to find out that my halfling PC doesn't qualify for the romance.

I would like to fix that in my own install, and have used NI to add the race(Player1,HALFLING) lines to the appropriate places in the dialog files. It overwrote the ones in the override folder (yes, I have a backup) - specifically K#SARAHB.DLG and FATESP.dlg. Is it safe to install the new files if you haven't encountered the NPC in question yet?

Ok, I can now answer this one.

I altered the three race checks in K#SARAHB.DLG to include the requisite race check ( Race(Player1,HALFLING), AND altered the OR from 3 to 4 (I forgot this the first go-around) There was another check where I simply needed a !race(Player1,HALFLING) line that obviously didn't need the OR. I also altered one check in FATESP.dlg that also needed the OR line altered.

I pushed these two files to my tablet's override folder and reloaded a save prior to the key dialog point and it worked.

As an aside, she moves awfully fast, which was causing a reputation check failure. I'm not sure how the party could have gotten to 13 rep by the time that conversation came up, so may alter that check as well.

At any rate, so far the patches haven't broken the dialog.
