ok talk me out of a refund

I bought this on Ps4 at launch and I'm sure you realize why I'm upset about that.
I bought this on PC last week with the intention of finally getting into this game and I've been hit with a slough of other technical issues and I'm no stranger to getting crafty to make pc games work.
My current gamebreaking issue is that saves don't load in multiplayer with the characters attached. It prompts me to pick from the vault without offering the choice of the character on the save. This resets the story which messes up everything. Is there a way to fix that?? Please. I need to know whether to request a refund on the pc version because it function no better than the ps4 version as far as I can tell.
