NWN EE multiplayer save files

My save files aren't saving the character with the file. When I go to load in my own server, it doesn't find any characters and restarts the module even if I pick the character exported at the same time.

Is there a way to fix this or is the original campaign stuck in single player mode? I've heard its possible with a closed server, but that doesn't help me much.

    SOLVED by some saint on the internet:

    I had to uncheck "enforce legal characters".
