Possible Wild Surge Bug

I cast Magic Missile with Neera and it rolled 7 wild surge effects. If I'm not mistaken it should only roll once per spell correct?

    The manual has a list of them. Some of the wild surges result in rolling additional wild surges. It sounds like this result came up more than once. I think one of them rolls 4 more times and another rolls 2 more times, which would be 6 + the 1 normal one = 7.

    Yup, one of the surges rolls more surges. Hope it turned out well :/

    It did kill my intended target, but it was all downhill from there, killing Neera and Imoen as well as maiming the rest of my party. To add insult to injury, it gave Neera a sex change too lol.
