Shapeshifter Help

I'm coming up on Attempt #28 on my No Reload Run and the fates have decided that I'm playing a Halfling Shapeshifter. Looking for advice as I know playing an armorless character can be difficult especially early game.

    The "armorless" issue goes away when you're in werewolf form; those forms have fantastic AC. So then, it's a matter of role-switching. Sometimes, you'll be a back-line spellcaster. Other times, you'll be a front-line tank. Just know when each of those are appropriate, and don't mix it up by transforming back while still in melee.

    That's actually pretty helpful. Atm I'm assuming to use my werewolf form in some pinches. At some point it won't matter anymore and I look forward to that.
