Does Dark Dreams of Furiae reduces your level?

I bought a Dark Dreams of Furiae. And I had a lv. 6 sorcerer so I imported this character.

However, it's lv. reduced to 5.

Not just this character, I've tested it with different characters, but their levels all dropped down to 5.

Is this a bug, or did Beamdog do this on purpose because perhaps they thought more than lv. 5 is too OP?

    I haven't played Dark Dreams of Furiae, but it is almost certainly an OnJoin module effect that drops your level back down to 5, yeah. This is a common practice by module builders to keep the difficulty of the module close to expected levels.
