Fallen Ranger

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Greetings and well met!
Not sure what happened but just noticed that the Ranger in my Icewind Dale game is now a Fallen ranger, is there any way to redeem him and get his skills back? Not exactly sure how it happened and seem to have saved over both saves with this change.

    unless you use EE keeper or some sort of modding tool, im going to go with no

    when a ranger or paladin hit 7 REP or lower they become fallen

    my guess as to where this happened was in dragon's eye on the bottom level where that one yuan-ti dude turns a whole bunch of peasants hostile and perhaps you accidentally killed one of them?

    I am trying to defeat Yxunomei now so that would seem the most likely event, thanks for the speedy reply
