NWN EE iOS will not load save game from Steam Version

I am trying to use a save-game of the PC Version of NWN EE (Steam) on my iPad.
Loading the save-game results in a dialog "This module was created with a updated version of neverwinter nights. Please exit and update the game".
Is it possible to update the iOS version by myself eg. by copying the game files, do I have to wait for an update of the iOS version or will it never be possible to share saved games between the two platforms?
