I need help with EEKeeper (instructions)

I want to add a new character to an existing party. (Replacing a bad concept.) Anyway, I got EEKeeper to work - found the saved games, found the saved characters, even think I figured out what to do to update the new character to the right level (I hope). But how do I add the new pc to the saved game?

I guess that is more safe way to replace a character with a new one. You could also adjust experience by using cheat console.
