Holy avenger question

I have a paladin with a +7 greatsword in Infinite Dungeons. If I use a holy avenger recipe on my sword, will the enhancement drop to +5 or remain the same?

    The highest is always used. So it will be both +5 and +7, so +7 will win.
    You will still get the other benefits of the Holy Avenger property.
