Can't level up to level 9 as a Red dragon disciple

Any ideas why this might be?

I've tried with multiple official and unofficial modules and i have a clean install without any mods.

    I have just discovered the exact same problem in HotU. Fighter5, bard 1, RDD 8, trying to level up. If I pick next level (9) of RDD at the end of the level up process, it goes right back to saying character ready to level up, with none of what I just did saved.

    If I go for another level of something else, say fighter, it works.

    Seems to be an issue more people had for reaching level 9 as Red Dragon Disciple, found this on GitHub:

    "The Game will reject your level up for spending too many skill points.
    Saving one skill point and spending it in a future level up will work around the issue."

    That doesn't solve your problem but maybe at least helps you continue with your build.

    Not sure if it has been reported as a bug already, so maybe you should do that here

    Thanks, Arvia! That did indeed work. And saving a skill point or two for the next level is no biggie for me.
