Have I missed out on Amalas quest/encounter?

So I got Mazzy before I went to the Coronet at all in my latest walkthrough. I encountered Gorf outside then entered the Coronet for the first time, only to see Amalas and his goons ‘force walk’ out the door without allowing any dialog. Have they gone for ever I wonder? Will they come back so I can have a bit of a pit fight with them later?

I know Amalas leaves permanently if you don’t talk to him before completing Hendak’s quest, but am not sure about the deal with Gorf’s...

It’s not so much of a big deal if this is so, but was curious...

    when the amalas group leaves, they leave for good, in fact sometimes you don't even need to finish the hendak quest for them to leave, perhaps they are some sort of game timer and after X amount of days, regardless of what you do they leave

    i've had them leave plenty of times on my first visit to the copper coronet

    It's in the area script; they leave if you release Hendak or if Mazzy is in the party. And no, they don't come back.

    Interesting...but it’s not a big deal I guess. Amalas should be thankful I let him get away!
