Dual from Shadowdancer to Mage

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I have Mods loaded that allow generous Dualing, but I’ve hit a snag. What race can Dual from Shadowdancer to Generalist Mage? And what stats are required to do this?
I would like to be a Half-Elf, but I will settle for Human. Thanks for any help!

    With mods you should be able to dual humans, elves and half-elves to mage from SD. Gnomes might be doable but because of the Illusionist thing I'm not positive...

    Without mods, only humans can dual.

    To dual to mage from SD you need at least:

    Dex - 15
    Cha - 15
    Int - 17

    The purpose of the shadowdancer kit is to grant mage-like abilities to thieves so they can have some of the benefits of a thief/mage without actually becoming one. I'm not sure I understand the purpose of a shadowdancer/mage dual, though yes as @Balrog99 says you can do it with humans in vanilla and half-elves with the appropriate mods.
