Floating damage numbers [Dev build 8193.21]

Hello!
With Development Build 8193.21, feedback from damage numbers are now split out separately by the damage type. i.e. Dealing 20 damage to a creature does not float "20" out of the creature, but instead "10" "3" "5" "2" (Physical, cold, fire, acid respectively for example).
You might imagine then that when hitting creatures with multiple attacks per round by multiple party members, numbers start to spam and you can easily lose track of the totals.
Is there a way to revert or toggle this feature back to standard? Or if not, can we have an option or setting implemented?
Thanks.
