Help: Changing an Item Icon with Near Infinity

BaptorBaptor Member Posts: 342
Hello everyone,
Recently I've gotten into Near Infinity and tinkering with the appearances of items I'd rather look different. I changed several in Baldur's Gate without any issues, but I can't seem to do the same in Icewind Dale.

I'm trying to change the icon of the Summoner's Staff to look like the Staff of the Hand. I changed the Icon value to the value of the Staff of the Hand. If you look in the screenshots below, you can see the icon inside the inventory is the staff of the hand, but when you go back to the game world screen, the icon in my quick weapon slot still shows the staff of the summoner icon art.

I've been over near infinity 100 times and I can't seem to find another value that would change this other icon. In Baldur's Gate when I changed the icon value it worked for both screens. Can anyone help?

Here are the images of the staff in game. Notice how the staff icon is totally different in each picture.

Here is what it looks like in Near Infinity right now.

The item icon shown in the toolbar is taken from the icon definition of the active ability entry. The staff in the screenshot has a melee ability. It should also have a separate icon definition.
