After Update to MacOS Big Sir 11.3 Cheat Console No Longer Works

I was playing Baldur's Gate II enhanced edition (and I've also tested BG1:EE and SoD). After the last MacOS update, the Ctrl commands not longer work. I've tried Ctrl+8 for ability scores and the Ctrl+Space for the console, none of them work. Oddly, Ctrl+R works for healing my party members. Anyone else seeing these issues?

    No. It works for me.

    Apparently, something changed and now I need to use Fn+Control+space
