Jarlaxle and Visaj despawn before being able to complete their quest.

What it says. I pick up the gems after killing Deirex, get teleported to their headquarters, but before any dialogue starts, they vanish instantly. I'm effectively stuck. And trying to use the CreateCreature command returns a song and dance about a nil value. Which puzzles me, since the console is enabled and working otherwise.

What am I doing wrong, besides doing the quest the way I've literally done it for more than 15 years?3kbk6gb92n7k.png

    Okay, I read somewhere that resting before confronting Deirex might work. It did, apparently.

    just to note, the reason why your console commands failed is because you forgot the "C:" in front first
