8193.26 just crashes to desktop

All attempts to launch the main game result in immediate crash, even after verifying the installation.

Log and dump submitted to Technical Support.

I have Avast installed, but NWN is listed as an exception.

    same here, it was fine yesterday with no issues.

    NOTE: adding NWN folder to the exceptions list seemed to have solved the crash for me

    Thanks - problem solved by making the entire Beamdog Library an Avast exception.

    It would be nice to know when this is fixed... or else which file is causing this... as leaving a window wide open doesn't feel good...

    Hello,

    this is not something we can fix; our game isn't doing anything wrong. You will have to take this up with your AV vendor.
