Mage Book Page Sounds

I was playing today and noticed when you select different levels of spells in your mage book it no longer plays the "page turning sound" that it used to. Am I crazy or is this a new thing? Did this change happen in 2.6 or was it 2.0? Anyone know of a way to restore it?
