Moving modded PC install to Mac

I eventually want to pull off getting my EET install on the tablet, but for now I settled on moving it to my Macbook Pro. Fortunately, since I have the GOG version, this proved fairly easy.
I zipped up the entire PC install, copied it to the Mac, and replaced the Windows executable with the MacOS executable. I also had to replace everything in the Documents folder with the equivalent files from my PC. Amazingly, this has worked fine so far. I was able to resume a saved game and create a new one.
As for the tablet version, I'm not sure if it will go so smoothly or not. However, I plan to try at some point.
