Windows 10, HotU: Cannot load games saved after killing the Valsharess
Hi, all - played NWN a lot many years ago, and have just completed the NWN:EE base game, continuing onto HotU.
But - I got a big problem. After killing the Valsharess, I appear in the Reaper's Realm, and I cannot load games saved from that point onwards. I can play quite a bit further, but unless I complete the rest of game in one sitting there is not much point playing on, as I cannot load games.
If a load a game saved after killing the Valsharess, the camera slowly spins around my (empty) location, and then the game goes to the end credits, and I have to load or create a new game.
I had problems with the "no magic" zone under the beholders earlier - I read that it was solved in 8193.29, so I loaded the latest version (8193.30) and used that version onwards.
I have submitted a support ticket.
Is this a known issue? I haven't been able to find any other reports of this problem.
