How to increase visual range of enemies ?

Hello,
I found that because of higher resolution, the field of view of characters in this game look small. But it does not only look small I believe...I think it is really small in reality because when you want to cast spells like entangle or other aoe similar spells, the window you have before the enemies are in your face is very short isn't it ? You could tell me that it's a part of the game and it was voluntarily made like this to reduce the power of those spells because of the fact that your own group can be affected by those spells and a classic exemple of countering this would be to put fire resistance on your front liners before casting fireballs etc...And I would answer you yes maybe, but I'd like to see how the game is enjoyable with just a little bit more of visual range.

I also quickly understood that if we increase visual range too much, we get the impression that hostile encounters mobs would spawn in our faces. It's just because we can see further that we see them appear in our field of view whereas before they spawned at the same distance from our characters but they were at the limit of our vision, almost in the fog.

After finding how to increase the visual range of my personal character and companions through EEkeeper thanks to a post of a player in this forum. I increased it and wanted to try it in game, I understood that the range of ranged weapons like bows, and without big surprise spells with range description said as "visual range of caster" were affected and increased. That worked well and I was satisfied until I tried it on enemies. I could attack them from a longer distance because I saw them from a longer distance but they could not respond to my attacks in a reasonable amount as they didn't see me. They started to run around trying to find me and when they did they attacked me, but it took them too much time. Sometimes they also run away a bit.

If you know any tricks to increase their visual range to match the visual range of my characters to re-create the default game situation where if you see an enemy, he can see you too and vice versa please let me know.
If you know mods or projects trying to do that, please also let me know.

It's not exactly what U want but somehow related topics.

    1) There is an arcane/divine spell of level 4 Farsight allowing to spy enemies beyond the visual range and within unexplored areas. ?

    2) Use lvl 4 spell Wizard Eye, eventually combined with Project Image and Simulacrum, in order to enlarge the visual range of a mage/sorcerer and create distant fights. Enemies will see your projected images (+summoned creatures) and attack them while your true character would observe remotedly all this havoc. ?️⚔️

    P.S. However, Project Image / Simulacrum is a high-level magic (lvl 7/8), not available in BG1. ?

Hmm... I guess that in BG1EE, a Sorcerer of lvl 7+ can use Farsight and Wizard Eye in order to escort summons beyond the normal visual range and initiate "honest" distant fights with enemies. ?

Thank you for your answer Yigor, I found that old topic from 2013 https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/18234/increase-line-of-sight-for-all-characters-units

Unfortunately they did not give solutions for this
