Android 11: request to change save/config folder path

Hello,
As the dev team is probably aware of, in Android 11, Google made this stupid change where only the app itself has access to its own Android/data/package_name_goes_here/files folder, but the file manager or USB file manager has no access to it.
This means I can no longer easily transfer my save files between my PC and my phone. Things that used to be easy in the past are a royal PITA now, because Google has stupid ideas.
If someone on the devteam is reading this, would it be possible to change the save file location to something else? For example, there is a PSP emulator, PPSSPP, which creates a folder "PSP" on the internal storage, and stores the config file and save states there. Simple, straightforward, gets the job done.
