Transmuters are awesome. You don't need abjuration spells, just polymorp into mustard jelly / iron golem and be immune to spells. Need to strip spell trap? cast ruby's ray. Need to kill something dangerous fast? Time stop and polymorph into a mindflayer and suck its brains out. Need to protect yourself? stoneskin
Pure bard: jack of all trades and master of none my ass, hands down the best tank in the game, use any item coupled with wizard spells and improved bard song puts your AC to a point that 90% of all enemies in the game will never hit you. use your fast level advantage with tensors transformation and minute meteors and mow down everything. or your fast leveling and animate dead to summon hordes of high level skeletons that can wipe out most enemies, or lay a bunch of traps and one shot those big bads. use your high pickpocketing skill to steal every scroll in the game and earn tons of free XP and use high level scrolls straight away for free
Assassin: assassination HLA with slayer form and it's high THAC0 and 4x APR without haste coupled with 7x backstab at 25 strength and poisoned slayer claws. Assassins worhship Bhaal, now they worship you after witnessing that damage. immune to backstabs? who cares, trap HLA. don't like slayers short duration? use any item and cast protection from magical energy on yourself and stay in slayer mode as long as you like
Diviner: best conjuration spells don't belong to the conjuration school (animate dead, mords sword, planatar) majority of other conjuration spells are trash, while instant cast divination spells with vecna robes are godly.
Enchanter: -2 to all enchantment spells, so most of those spells will be -4 or -6. Throw chaos or hold monster into a group of enemies and boom, you longer have a problem. while evocations web and cloud spells harm your own team. can't charm a dragon? well you can make him stupid with with your -4 or -8 (with malison) feeblemind. use Enchanted Weapon on your bowman and have +3 arrows whenever you want them.
Necro: animate dead, send in your horde, while you cast dangerous necro spells with -2, such as death spell (that wipes out a large portion of enemies in the game) finger of death, banshee and horrid withering for late game damage. undead causing a problem for your instant death spells? control them with control undead and let them kill themselves, and don't forget skull traps high damage or that spirit armor is a great defense spell
Dragon Disciple: more hitpoints is always good. dragon breath ignores magic resistance. easy to achieve innate 20 con for HP regen. 100% fire resistance, equipped fire ring to heal from fire damage, just stand in your own Incendiary Cloud while everything burns around you or cast multiple delayed fireballs and lead mobs back into them
Priest of helm: often called the worst priest kit. but seeking sword rocks, cast cleric buffs and get an innate 3 attacks per round without haste that can hit +4 required enemies. innate true seeing frees up spell slots for more awesome level 5 spells such as mass cure or commands. end game with aura of flaming death and globe of blades with your seeking sword for melee madness while you can cast true seeing
Undead Hunter: some reason considered the worst paladin kit, yet only loses lay on hands for immunity to hold and level drain (so you dont need amulet of power, you can wear amulet of spell warding for another -2 to spells saves to go with your paladins already -2 saves) without losing access to ranged weapons, spells (including animate dead) or turn undead.
beast master: stealth, scout, summon to distract, having enemies waste attacks and more importantly, spells on animal fodder. crushing damage is the most important damage type and clubs and staves have some of the best weapons in the game, and you still make a decent archer.
shapeshifter: caster class that can melee most enemies in the game is bad? with access to armor of faith and iron skins while having the best anti-mage spell in the game via insects? wolf can't hit the handful of +3 enemies? turn into an elemental and whack them good
