Why is finding the correct files so hard on Github?

I was looking for the lefreut's Enhanced UI files on Github and found 3 zip files including the most recent. However none of them had the exe file.
However it isn't just this mod with which I am having issues. The same applies to the pages for many mods and is most frustrating.
It would certainly help if all modders had a similar layout to make the search easier.
I did find the file eventually by going on the G3 website, but even there finding the file was not easy. The lack of links from the top of page1 on the mod forum makes finding the mods far harder than it need be.

If you click the "Releases" link on the right side, it brings you to this page:

The zip file here contains the mod + exe. Of course, some mods don't post releases directly on github, and some mods want you to download the source code zip, instead of packaging a separate release. Note that the exe file is just weidu.exe renamed. You can always download the latest weidu, copy the exe to the game folder and rename it to setup-modfolder.exe.
