Issues with portrait pictures

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I am running Baldurs Gate EE. I have a portrait pack called Portraits Portraits Everywhere.

After i have spoken to a NPC, when i go and speak to another NPC the portrait from the previous person i have spoken to is displayed for a second. i do find it somewhat irritating. I never noticed that to be an issue with the original baldurs gate. I am on a fresh install, and only have Portraits Portraits Everywhere installed
