Item stack splitting on switch

Is there a way to split item stacks? I want to sell just a few of an item, but I have no idea what button combination (if there is any) that will allow me to do so.

    I'm not talking about splitting off one item. I'm talking about how you can do Shift + Right Click on PC to split the stack in half, but for a controller.

    Google has been less than helpful and just keeps bringing up results up about clicking Y to split one item which I've already figured out.

    I'm now playing BG1 on Switch and checked the item splitting.
    The only way is to click Y and indicate the number of items (with right arrow) that U wanna split. 👈
