Is there a way to restore the old paper doll helmets from the original game?

The helmets in the EE look awful compared to the original. The new horned helmet looks like a football helmet, the cross helmet used to actually look like the texture, and there used to be a cool winged helmet with a v-shaped eye slit.

The old helmets looked pretty darn cool, and the EE ones look pretty goofy.
