Activating and Deactivating a Tile's Animation Loop

Is This possible via a script?

I have figured out how to change the lighting, but I have not been able to find info on turn on or off the animation loop.

I would like my players to be able to "put out"/extinguish a fire place, and after a period of time (it reset itself to a fire again).

    Not possible, sadly.

    A similar result can be achieved using placeables or visual effects.

    VFX typically don't have "off" states, so create when needed, destroy when not.

    VFX will have to do then. It would have been nice to learn something new, and the fireplace in the fort tileset already looks so nice.

    maybe this is something that can be added in the future....

    A long time ago, I asked if Beamdog would give us a SetTileAnimation command, but I seem to have been ignored. Either that or they just thought it wasn't worth the trouble of doing.
