Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition crashes on startup

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
My Steam version of Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition crashes on startup, and I need help fixing the problem. I went into the crash dump file and attempted to read it with Notepad++. I then attempted to update my driver but it is currently up to date. I have attached zip files of the crash dump file and the error message dialogue and would appreciate any help.

    Something is wrong with the game's language files — try running "Verify integrity of game files..." through Steam.

    Note: If you've modded your game this will break things, you need to start from a clean installation.
