neverwinter nights 2 will not launch

Hello , and yes very frustated the game worked ok until may 5th when it refused to launch, when i press play button just get a black screen for 2 seconds then crashs, bought from gog last year and worked ok until recently, understand gog no longer support this, poor, tried different things to get it to work but no joy, tried altering the compatility also tried running as adminstrator, reinstalled gog galaxy and downloaded alopen and direct 9xc, nothing made any difference, annoyed about this as i am well into act3. I am using windows 10 64bit with specs of amd ryzen 5, 8mb ram and graphics of nvida gtx1650.
Has anybody got a magic wand to wave over this please.

    perhaps there was a recent windows update that may be the cause, try uninstalling the new update or roll backing if that is what it is called to a previous one and see if that works

    NwN 2 is not a Beamdog game, they make NwN EE. They are 2 very different games. You may get better help over on the NwN 2 forums over on the vault.
