So has anyone tried installing mods on a Steam Deck?

I'm hoping (though doubtful) it could be as simple as just copying my desktop install to my steam deck and overwriting its installation. However, I use Windows not Linux, so i'm sure there are a hundred reasons I can't do that, not the least of which is incompatible file system. But there's no harm in asking.

    Maybe a small necro here but I was wondering if you managed to get it to work?

    Im about to start a new playthrough of the Blade I finished BG1 and Dragonspear with. And if possible I would like a situation in which I can play the same save on both my deck and PC. So I need the mods to be installed while launching the game through proton. At the very least tweakpack for some QoL modifications.

    Did anyone manage?
