Just a quick question about Blackguards

Will Blackguards, like Dorn, be able to equip Carsomyr? What if you make a human blackguard, and not use Dorn...will that Human Blackguard be able to equip Carsomyr? Thanks in advance for the info...

    Moved to General because this is not a bug.

    Carsomyr will probably be changed to exclude Blackguards.

    Probably by way of an alignment restriction.

    Although--Maybe it could bestow the "Level Drained" status, thus preventing you from gaining experience and levels as a blackguard for as long as it's equipped? That would be neat.

    I hope they implement a weapon equivalent to Carsomyr for the Blackguard, or have an item that the smithy can upgrade to an evil version of Carsomyr.

    I think it'd be nifty if you could undergo a quest to corrupt carsomyr. Maybe a little trip to the Abyss, eh? It could be part of the stronghold quest.
