How to transfer save files from PC to Android on Android 12

I have an S22 Ultra running Android 12.

I copied over my save files from my computer into the com.beamdog.etc... folder under android/data but it is completely empty and I have no write access to that folder.

I have tried many file explorers including total commander and x-plore, it just gives me an error.

What should I do?
