Game Freezes when putting note on map

Title says it all. When trying to put a note on the map, my game froze and closed.

    This is a known issue on certain configurations. I'm afraid you'll have to wait for a patch to fix it. In the meantime, simply avoid putting notes on the map.

    By the way, does it make any difference if you bring up the map with the map button or with the "M" shortcut?
