How do you post screen shots / picutures in a post on this forum?

Just wondering.

Click "Attach a file" below the comment box.

    Hmm.
I've been wondering about why there wasn't any easy bb-coding or ways to attach files etc.
Maybe the OP is using an iPad like me.. No options shown in the comments section, except for preview and save draft..

@Jalily Thanks but I'm not seeing an "Attach a File" button. =/ I just see home, general, preview and save draft

Attach files, bold, italic, underline etc... Lots of features missing!

Yeah, it's really frustrating. I'm always using my iPad, so I don't have access to plugins with BB-coding so I can add a bit of flavor to my posts.

smileys would make a big difference too. Lots of misunderstandings when people can't tell when people joke or not...

    <.img src="URL" /> remove the dot

Btw, the easiest way to figure out how to do something on these forums is to hit quote on the post that did the thing you want to figure out. In the comment box, it'll show you the appropriate string to enter.

Huh, that's weird. Maybe accounts need permission for that.

If the image is already online, you can post it this way:
    <img src="link to image"> (No slash.)

jajaja, I guess that's the problem with learning by copying. I must have grabbed someone else's mistake. Still worked to post pics though, at least. Thanks though. Will be easier to remember now.

That can't be true, why would we need special permission for a standard feature like that?
    Hmm..
Not having access to my pc at the moment, I assume it's to do with browser or hardware, if you have the attach button...

I'm using iPad, and no such option, don't know about the OP.

I'm a beta tester. I have no idea if this is related to my ability to attach files.

I'm on PC, Chrome, regular user. No "attach file" for me, so I don't think it's a hardware/software problem, but a permissions problem, as Jalily said.

But why on earth would they implement a standard feature with permissions?
I mean, if you know how, you can use standard BBCode and everyone can attach, link etc.
It's just very inconvenient, and lots of people, like me haven't bothered to memorize codes.. I'm too used to the standard forum where it's implented as buttons and choices for text, images, links etc.

If a Dev read this, and if it really is a permission you need for this, can you please rethink that decision?
