NWN HotU unlootable corpse - possible gamebreaking bug

Hi everyone,

After many years I am replaying NWN, but unfortunately I am experiencing much more bugs and issues than before. I have made it through SoU without a henchman because they wouldn’t help in any battle, but I got stuck finally in HotU.

I just killed the rakshasas on the 2nd level of Undermountian, and I think their leader should possess one of the chains for the next level, but I cannot interact with his corpse. I can highlight it with TAB but that’s about it.

Has anyone maybe encountered something similar and know the solution?

    I just played through that not long ago. I don't remember having any issues there. I don't suppose you saved before killing it did you?

    If you can find the blueprint resref of the item you require, you can use the DebugMode commands to create one on the floor near you.
