The Time of Troubles has finally ended. Magic has returned, but in some areas, it has become unstable. Even the formulas for certain spells have changed, leaving spellcasters perplexed everywhere. New gods have risen while old ones have fallen. In the southern land of Tethyr, the followers of Helm are numerous and influential in the region as they warn of the dangers of the misuse of arcane magic.

The peasants overthrew the Tethyrian nobility eleven years ago. Since then, chaos and lawlessness have ravaged the land. The roads in every direction are teeming with bandits. Strange new cults have arisen following the Godswar, and strange new aberrations have emerged. Creatures unlike any other are discovered almost daily by adventurers. Talk of curses and local folklores ignite overnight.

The Village of Brost is close to the Tethir Road, which is the functional border between the nations of Amn and Tethyr. Nearby baronies insulate the village by providing defense and support against many of the perils facing travelers in the area. The coffers of kindly barons and the careful advice of local druids have kept the village serene until now.

Calls for the valiant echo throughout the land. Welcome to the Lands of Intrigue.

Overview:
Time of Troubles: AD&D is a faithful adaptation of AD&D core rules combined with Players Option: Combat & Tactics supplement. We are a low magic, hardcore roleplay world where player actions can affect the course of the entire narrative. Our staff is comprised of founding members of the former Knights of Noromath server and uses the base module of the Knights of Noromath as a starting point for the implementation of 2nd Edition AD&D.

It's literally AD&D in NWN:EE.

About the Roleplay:
The recent conclusion of the Time of Troubles leaves the denizens of the Forgotten Realms in unfamiliar territory, as wild magic, dead magic, and other changes to magic are yet to be explored. Within the fractured kingdom of Tethyr, there is still no peace. The Alemandrian Interregnum continues into its 11th year as the peasants struggle to endure life without the order, and without the oppression, of the former ruling class.

Features: Too many to list
Playerbase: Small but kind
Admin/Staff: Always reflecting, always improving

Big expansions planned.
