White menu/possible missing assets?

I have looked through every place I could think of to find this solution and maybe I'm just not seeing it. But I have a problem where the main menu background is white, several icons are missing and just displaying a default file thumbnail, and when i'm in-game, the textbox, portrait, and in-game menu buttons are all solid white boxes. I've updated my graphics drivers, restarted, run oalinst.exe from the game directory, and even reinstalled the game. I'm including screenshots to show the problem but... i'm completely out of ideas for how to fix whatever this is.

    What OS are you on and where did you buy the game from?

    sorry for the really late reply but i did manage to get it fixed. somehow the base textures were missing. i swapped out a texture mod for what should have been there (bought via steam) and it instantly fixed everything.
