BG:EE won't launch on MacBook

Hi,
Posting here in the offchance that one of you knows this type of stuff. I recently tried to install BG:EE on my computer (MacBook Pro 2015, OS = Mojave) to try and give it a go, but the game won't launch. I get an icon in the bottom right corner saying the game is running (it has a little black dot underneath it), but nothing happens. I try fiddling with the Wineskin after I found some instructions elsewhere but can't get it to run.

Until I updated my system this year, I was using a 2015 MBP myself. (Reason for update: the internal speakers were shot, and I wanted to do things without always needing headphones)
